Country house "La Gioia" to let!

"Frontside of our house, left side with addition" Country house "La Gioia" The country house "La Gioia", mostly rebuilt and completely renovated in the nineties, is situated in the midst of the gently sloping hills of the Marche. Whenever possible we have followed the ways of construction typical of the area: most doors inside are fashioned the old way, overhead beams and traditional flooring enhance the charming country house flair. Downstairs you will find the kitchen, the spacious living and diningroom and a bathroom with shower and washing-machine. Upstairs there are four bedrooms (one double, three twins that can be doubles), a second open living room with fire-place and two bathrooms (each of which has a shower). Located downstairs in the addition and accessible from the covered patio is one more double-bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
"The easy hills of the Marche" The vicinity in the Marche and in close-by Umbria Senigallia, a nice little sea-side town facing the Adria, is roughly 10 km away. This is where you can enjoy the sun and the sea on one of the finest italian beaches, the "velvet beach", stroll around the weekly market on thursday, do your shopping and lunch or dine in one of the many welcoming restaurants. Urbino, Assisi, San Marino, Macerata, Corinaldo and many other remarkable sights can be visited during a day's excursion. In our country house "La Gioia" you can have a look at our collection of information material regarding the places we recommend to visit during your stay, including maps and some descriptions of the sights in english. On your way back home after an eventful day, you can stop in Ripe, a little village at 4 km from "La Gioia", shop for dinner and start looking forward to the aperitive on the terrace... "The pink room upstairs."
The equipment: comfortable and cosy Make yourself at home in the generously equipped kitchen: your groceries easily disappear in the huge refrigerator or in the freezer; gas-stove and oven are ready to help you prepare delicious meals that you can take at the long dining-room table, under the patio or on the terrace in front of the kitchen. Then have an espresso and leave the dishes to the dishwasher. Whether you would like to spend your evening watching TV, have a glass of wine and talk, play table-tennis under the patio, play board games or cards or just sit outside in a deck-chair contemplating the endless universe (while someone around you tries to persuade you, that the universe after all must be finite) ... at a certain point you will wish everybody a good night and retire to your room... maybe then you too will think: "Aren't we lucky!"
"The well and the covered patio" To own a home in Italy Maybe our guests like our house especially because originally we didn't intend to hire it out. This is why we built and decorated everything the way we wanted it to be. This is how the beautiful wooden kitchen with ceramics counter and the high-grade bathrooms can be explained. We also leave most of our books in the living-room, as well as some of our games, you are welcome to read and use them during your stay. There is a swing for the little ones in front of the kitchen, and you can use our wireless internet connection if you bring along your own computer.
"eating outside" Prices Hey, if you read all the way down here, now you're probably wondering how much it would be, to enjoy "La Gioia": - During the summer (from end of June to end of august) we let our house for 1.450 EUR per week. If you stayed with us before you can have a discount. - During spring and autumn we ask 1.200 EUR per week. - Up to now we have let our house during the winter or over Christmas/New Year only once. There we would have to discuss the price, plus heating. Heating will be billed separately, when necessary, up to a maximum of 500 EUR per week. Please note that there is a security deposit of 250 EUR, which will be reimbursed if nothing is broken or damaged and if the house is left tidy with the kitchen clean.
Availability As of today our house in 2015 is available as follows (price per week): * 02.05.-27.06.2015: 1.200 EUR * 27.06.-29.08.2015: 1.450 EUR * 29.08.-26.09.2015: 1.200 EUR You can comfortably stay at "La Gioia" with 10 people (in five rooms with two beds each). There is a further room in the attic with two beds, that you can rent for 100 EUR extra per week. Saturday is our typical day of both arrival (after 3:00 pm) and departure (before 9:00 am).
